Session: Traditional Products in a Digital World

Sam Chuisano graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2016 with a BA in Public Health Studies. During her time in Baltimore, she worked at a health and wellness clinic for under- and uninsured populations and evaluated the impact of of the Affordable Care Act on free clinics throughout the US. Sam joined LiquidGoldConcept, a breast health and lactation education startup, in Fall 2016 as a public health intern. Within a year, she became key personnel, working closely with the CTO and CEO to prototype, validate, and commercialize their first product, the Lactation Simulation Model. At the same time, Sam worked as an office manager at a moving, storage, and shipping company, where she streamlined sales and operations. After graduating from University of Michigan, Sam accepted a full-time position with LiquidGoldConcept to manage the business development, marketing, sales, manufacturing, and day-to-day operations. Since becoming a full-time employee at LGC, Sam has streamlined manufacturing, implemented customer success and automated customer management strategies, developed targeted print and digital marketing materials and campaigns, and facilitated the growth of the company to triple its monthly recurring revenue.
