Heather Zara is Owner and CEO of Zara Creative, a full-service production studio focused on creating intentionally crafted content for global brands like, Apple, The Detroit Pistons, Ford Motor Company, Audi of America, Google, ESPN, Philips, The Kresge Foundation, Bell’s Brewery and Ronald McDonald House Charities. Before launching Zara Creative in January of 2012, Heather was a reporter and anchor for nearly a decade for stations including NBC Detroit, Fox Sports Detroit, WWJ Newsradio 950 and 97.1FM The Ticket. Heather earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Michigan State University, where she received honors in Journalism and won an Emmy award before graduating. In 2015, Heather was recognized by DBusiness Magazine as one of Detroit’s 30 in Their Thirties. She has also been featured in Crain’s Detroit, for her insight on tackling the challenges of fast growth in business.
