Alex Fisher started his first business in high school, a computer repair company featured on the front page of the Detroit Free Press. With an interest in technology and business he majored in Computer Engineering at the University of Michigan-Dearborn while creating and failing at many startups. His most recent business, Commercial Progression, was founded after getting laid-off in the Great Recession in February 2009. In 2016, after becoming one of the largest web design companies in Michigan, CP was acquired by a Chicago marketing agency. Today, Alex is head-down in blockchain technology which is disrupting the world of finance, health care, logistics, and other areas of business through "trustless" computing.He is helping build the blockchain community as an organizer of the Michigan Ethereum meetup group as well as providing blockchain consulting to select clients.
